Most software is paid for before anyone knows whether it works. I do the opposite. You write down what it has to do, in your words, before I start. I build it at my own cost. You run it on your real data and decide whether it passed. Only then do I invoice. If it never passes, you owe me nothing.
By hand: Someone opens every supplier e-invoice, checks the amount and the VAT, files it, and types the figures into the accountant’s month-end list.
With the software: It reads each one from the mailbox, checks the totals, files it under the right supplier, and builds the accountant’s export. Anything that does not add up is flagged first.
By hand: Three shops send tomorrow’s order to a chat group, one as a voice message, one as a photo of the till screen. At ten at night the baker copies it all into a spreadsheet and guesses the flour.
With the software: Each shop orders on a phone by six. The kitchen gets one combined list by seven, sorted the way the ovens are loaded. Every Thursday it drafts the supplier order from real numbers.
By hand: Jobs arrive by phone, email and the website. Someone plans the week on a whiteboard, texts each technician, and writes the invoices days later from paper notes.
With the software: Every request lands in one list. It drafts the day’s routes, sends each technician theirs, and gives the customer a time window. On site the technician ticks off the parts, and the invoice writes itself.
Three sizes if you rent, month to month, no minimum term. Hosting is billed on top at cost.
Rent it. The software stays mine and I keep it running: monitoring, updates, fixes, and me when something breaks. Stop at the end of any month.
Buy it. You pay the build hours at €50 an hour and it is yours: the source code, the rights, and accounts in your name. The most it can cost is written in the contract before I start, and I carry anything over it. My maintenance ends unless you keep me on a retainer.
Buy at the start or after renting, at the same rate; rent paid is not credited. Either way, nothing is invoiced before it passes.
If you rent, the software stays mine. That is the trade for me carrying the build. Buying ends it. Everything else is in the contract before I start: the checklist we both signed, the delivery date, the rent, the most the buy price can reach, and your data exportable at any time. Nothing on this page is missing from it.
Quiet Real is me, a software engineer in Berlin. I do the whole job, first call to the fixes afterwards. One person, permanently: not hiring, not building a team, not handing you to one later. If something happens to me, a continuity clause gives you the code and your data.

The delivery date is in the contract. If I miss it you can walk away, and since nothing is invoiced before it passes, that costs you nothing.
Monitoring, security updates, bug fixes, and me answering when something breaks. Not included: the server cost, billed on top at cost, and new features, which I quote as fixed-price add-ons.
Not for software you already have. The fee at launch is in the contract and stays. Hosting follows what the servers cost, and you see the provider’s numbers first.
You cancel at the end of any month, the first one included. You get a full export of your data, available for 30 days. No exit fee.
You own it, it runs on your accounts, and the provider bills the hosting to you. Keep me on a retainer or don’t. Buying later costs the same as buying at the start; the months you rented are not deducted.
You do. We sign a GDPR data-processing agreement before any of it reaches my systems, and you can export everything at any time.
No. I am not hiring developers, not taking on partners, and not selling a client list to someone who will. One person is the point.
